York River Wild & Scenic

Save Kittery Waters is the proud recipient of a grant through the York River Watershed Grants Program from York River Wild & Scenic. Funding for our 2025 work is provided by the York River Stewardship Committee and the National Park Service Wild and Scenic Rivers Program.

With this funding, we have accomplished so much.

  • Continued with the Creek SMART campaign.

  • Hosted events to educate and connect.

  • We held a speaker series to provide a space for education and connection.

  • Increased our communications and outreach.

  • Focused efforts on attending community events and spreading the word about our project.

Maine Community Foundation

A grant from the Maine Community Foundation has been a primary funding source for our outreach efforts, including supporting our CreekSMART Pledge, one of our key outreach programs.
