Kittery’s landscape includes roughly four square miles of water within its land boundary and nearly 34 miles of shoreline—an intricate network of tidal rivers, estuaries, freshwater streams and brooks, ponds, wetlands, and intertidal areas that run through our neighborhoods and connect us to the coast.
Our homes and the everyday choices we make directly influence the health of Kittery’s waters.

We are a grassroots movement of Kittery, ME volunteers dedicated to improving the health of the waters that shape our community - from Spruce Creek and Pepperell Cove, to the York and Piscataqua Rivers, and the many streams, estuaries, and wetlands that connect our neighborhoods to the coast.
Through community education, outreach, and collaborative volunteer efforts, we seek to raise awareness and inspire everyday stewardship to protect the cherished waterways central to Kittery’s history, economy, and identity.
